My internet is pretty slow compared to my neighbors, we all have the same internet service. (DSL) But every single one of my neighbor's internet is much faster than mine. I got my internet service before anyone. My internet router is about 3 years older than everyone elses. Could this be my problem?... Read More »

We are with BT internet and phone line and we used to be on 2-8Mb/s internet speeds and now it has gone down to 0.1Mb/s!! The phone line is very crackly and the internet turns off every now and then. I was wondering if it's possible to use it as a modem only and hook it up to my netgear wpn824v2 for wireless for better security and easier UI. Also, will this speed down my connection?
